I love that my husband is the most patient person I know.

I love that my husband is always up for an adventure, whether in the form of a long walk, a scavenger hunt, a hike, a spontaneous something-or-other, a card game over lunch, etc.

I love that my husband will swing dance with me.

I love that my husband wrestles with and goofs around with the kids

Oh my goodness this is kinda hard! Not to come up with things that I love about my husband but to put it into words.....

I love that my husband is not affraid to show emotion and tell me (or show me) that he loves me, no matter what!

I love that my husband has an adventurous spirit...it's what led us here!

I love that my husband wanted a big family and got one! And is a fantastic dad too!

And he loves to play and have fun with the kids but isn't affraid to discipline them when they need it too.

Wow--it's so hard to pick just 4!

I love the way that Phil plays and loves to be silly with the kids and make them laugh so hard they can hardly breathe.

I love that he is so thoughtful and creative. He is a musician, and has written several songs for me and for the kids. Some are serious and some are hilarious. Some of them he has recorded so I can have them on my iPod, some he performs live when I come to his gigs, and some he just makes up on the spot when I need to be cheered up or the kids need some smiles.

I love that my husband plays games with me. Almost every night after the kids are in bed we'll sit downstairs and play games and watch either a movie or a few episodes of Friends or House. It's our time together, and it's one of the main reasons our marriage is so great. Before we met, he didn't even like to play games, but after 8+ years, its starting to grow on him!

I love that my husband treats me like a princess, even though sometimes I treat him like a frog. He honors me and respects me even when I don't deserve it and he sets a great example for our daughter of how her husband should treat her someday, and for our sons as for how to be a Godly husband to their future wife.

Marky--
1. He is ALWAYS honest...even when it hurts, but it's always to help. I know I can always trust him to be honest.

2. He is rugged and athletic, and I really appreciate that in him, b/c he does so much for us that I couldn't do. I love that manliness about him.

3. He has such a good heart. That was the bottom line of why I married him. I knew he would always have a good heart.

4. He is so devoted to his family. He is motivated in all he does, for us. That includes working, playing, fathering, husbanding--? okay i made that word up. He's a great hubby.

My husband...
Tries to make me smile and laugh when I'm grumpy. :)

Has integrity.

Cares about doing things God's way in our family.

Makes sure he spends alone time with each individual child every week or two by taking them to the park, going on a walk or going to get ice cream together.

1. He never lies to me. He is open and honest and upfront. Like meghan said, even when it hurts, I appreciate his honesty.

2. He makes Levi laugh and is so good at playing with him, but also consitent with discipline.

3.He works so hard to provide for us making sure we are never lacking yet also making sure that he's around as a husband and father.

4.His heart for the Lord and for the church. I love that he is not affraid to show emotion. I love to hear him pray.

1) totally loves me unconditionally. I can be such a bear sometimes... chalk it up to hormones, unspoken expectations, just being too blunt, or whatever, but he is so good at defusing me and not letting things heat up!!

2) He is an awesome dad for our kids. Always hanging out on the ground with them, being silly with them, or talking seriously with me about expectations he wants to see in them.

3) We are best friends for sure.

4) He is so well rounded. He loves hunting, going to the theater (like plays, not movies), riding his motorcylce, singing in the worship band at church, discussing Christian history and theology with friends, playing soccer, gardening, watching football, etc, etc.
