What is the role of a father in raising daughters? What are some specific things your husband does, your father did with you, you wish your father did, etc that you see as necessary for a father's hand in helping your daughters as they grow into womanhood?

Mothers and Sons

What is a mother's role in raising her son(s)? What are some specific things she can do to help encourage his growing up into a man?

Picture, Picture on the Wall

Can it be detrimental to hang family/kid photos around the house and in the kids' room? I heard someone say that too many individual photos of the kids can make them arrogant and think the world revolves around them. What do you think?

Figure it Out

How do you teach your kids to work out fights/issues on their own, without parental involvement? At what age should they be able to do this? Do you have suggestions for what worked for you, either as a kid growing up or with teaching your own kids?

Throw a fit!

Are any of your kids screamers and/or tantrum throwers? How do you handle that? What are your methods for stopping them?

How and where do you keep your dirty laundry prior to washing it? Do you have any sort of storage system?

How do you encourage/help/train your kids to be "tough"? How do balance sensitivity in the picture so the kid isn't a brute?

Green

How GREEN are you? Do you make your own cleaning supplies? Do you use cloth diapers? Do you make your own diaper wipes? Is "being green" important to you?

Good behavior

Do you give any rewards of any type to your kids for good behavior? What are your thoughts about rewarding kids "caught in the act" of doing good without being asked -- sharing, eating all their food, etc?

Sleep

What did you do to get your babies/toddlers/kids (whatever the case may be) to sleep through the night? Do you let them cry it out? If so, for how long?

Cold Season

Here comes cold season! What do you do to help your kids avoid sicknesses? What do you do when you see a cold/sick bug starting to hit? How do you help kids through being sick?
